Perhaps what you need are a few strategies or tools to pull on instead?
One strategy I recommend is the ‘SOS method’.
- SHARE: Let your nearest and dearest know your intentions. These are the people that have an immediate on your days. All too often I see busy women trying to operate in total isolation. It’s hard to find the time, if nobody is on your side.
- OUTSOURCE: Outsource anything you can to help you find time. Babysitting, food prep services, fitness trainer. It doesn’t always have to involve money – it can involve an exchange.
- SCHEDULE: Free time doesn’t just pop into our day(s). We have to plan and schedule our time. If it’s not scheduled, it’s very unlikely to happen.
