1. Pineapples & Zucchinis by Studio Dre

Studio Dre in Morley is centred around developing gross motor skills in young children, from the age of 1-10. They specialise in Breaking Dance, Ninjabilities classes, parkour and tricking. Andre and the team at Pineapples and Zucchini’s have been busy putting together amazing ‘at home’ Ninja classes for kids. 2. Lil’ Sketch by Sketch Society

Emily from Sketch Society has a serious passion for inspiring people to connect/reconnect with art. Lil’ Sketch is something she has created to help encourage little artists to be bold with colour, think wild and have fun making awesome art. There’s an online Art Club (Free Printable colouring in sheets, mini video tutorials and projects), Art Kits (filled with all the tools you need for at home art), and Lil’ Artist Workshops (livestreamed art classes). Plenty to keep those budding artist(s) entertained.

 

3. Play Time Ideas by Little Land

Little Land is Perth’s newest play space that offers a scaled down version of the real world inspiring your child to learn through role-play. To help continue inspiring young ones to have fun and learn through role play, they have created a Little Library of play guides and colouring you can print, and playtime videos you can watch.

 

4. Baby Massage Classes by Baby Massage Perth

Lucy Brown, founder of Baby Massage Perth is an accredited Infant Massage Instructor.  She is now teaching parents correct baby massage techniques via VIRTUAL CLASSES. Baby massage can help you overcome common issues parents experience in the first years; sleeping, settling, crying, baby cues, sleep cycles, constipation, wind, colic, reflux, eczema, teething pain, bonding and so many more. Besides all the physical and psychological benefits of baby massage to babies themselves, an invaluable benefit is the difference it makes in parental confidence as will be taught how to learn to read their child’s cue and understand them better.

 

5. Kids Meditation Sessions by Serenity Wellness Collective

Narelle Weir from Serenity Wellness Collective is running 10 minute guided meditations for kids on her Instagram live every Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9.30am. This is a great way to help your kids recenter, balance their emotions and relieve any stress or anxiety they may be feeling. Narelle is passionate about the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. She believes teaching children how to slow down, breathe deeply and clear their minds can be especially useful during this time. A time where our kids are faced with lots of change and uncertainty.  Mummas are welcome to join in too!

 

6. Individualised Exercise Programs For Kids by Thriving Fit

Thriving is an exercise rehabilitation program for kids and teens impacted by any conditions or challenges that limit their ability to participate in school or community based activity. Services are provided by Accredited Exercise Physiologists or Exercise Scientists – experts in using exercise for health.  They can cater for kids with musculoskeletal conditions; poor or delayed movement skills; behavioural, developmental or social challenges (e.g. non-verbal, social or activity anxiety); childhood cancer; metabolic disease and complex juvenile conditions (incl. intellectual/behavioural difficulties, depression/anxiety and Autism).Strength & conditioning sessions are individualised and are now virtually available through Telehealth. 7. Kids Fitness App by The Kids Coach

The Kids Coach is an app designed to get your child up and moving with fun, regular fitness programming in the comfort of your own home. The app gives you access to hundreds of kid friendly workout videos developed by Perth couple Jamie Jones, a Kids Personal Trainer, with his wife, Roisin Sullivan, an Occupational Therapist. The Kids Coach was created in a bid to help all young children move more, get healthier and learn to love staying active.

 

8. Online Nature Connection Program by Educated by Nature

Educated by Nature has launched a new online nature connection mentoring program to support children to create nature connection routines at home or in nearby natural spaces, like local bushland. Sessions are aimed at 6 to 12 year olds, but siblings of all ages are welcome to be involved. The cost is $11 per device used, so one family can share the screen at the one price. Sessions may run over the 30 minute time slot but aim to be finished within 45 minutes. Sessions are hosted by Trudi Bennet or Daniel Burton (Co-Directors of Educated by Nature) with ‘Guest Challenger’ appearances from members of the Educated by Nature team.
